Our
National High School Student Design Contest challenges students to apply
the basic principles of solar energy in new and exciting ways. Contestants
are required to design and explain an original or an improvement to an
existing solar powered device. Prizes are awarded to students with the most
innovative and workable designs for uses of solar energy. More than $2,000
in prizes have been awarded to students.

We
provided complete information on renewable energy and solar applications in
concert with the American Solar Energy
Society (ASES) at the Mall in DC, April 20-22, 2000. PRSEA estimates
that several hundred visitors stopped by our solar information booth to
learn more about practical applications of green technology.
