I am an enforcement attorney at EPA HQ. I get the pleasure of suing air polluters, sometimes for millions of dollars. It's great. In my spare time, I drive my electric car, attend Electric Vehicle Association monthly meetings, help to organize the annual Tour of Solar Homes, solar cooking workshops and other solar events. My EV and solar interests support my professional interest in clean air, so I frequently leave a solar/EV message on my work voice mail.

Building Environmental Science & Technology provides building environmental science consulting services to evaluate energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, and resource efficient development and construction opportunities. Our applied science approach is oriented around the principal that buildings are whole systems that need to co-exist with the environment while providing for health, comfort, economy, and efficiency for occupants. We furnish a broad array of services including: computer-assisted evaluation studies of energy use, health & comfort; on-site renewable energy application feasibility studies; assessment of custom portfolios of high-performance, economically effective, technologies and design approaches; diagnoses of whether designs meet up-to-date energy codes and standards; reviews of purported "green" buildings according to current US GBC LEED system; and determinations of whether energy efficiency packages represent good value to consumers and the environment.
